2 months agoThis place always hosts the best events. Larger space for events that are done inside. We attended the fly fishing expo and they had actual 3” pools of water that were 40’ long and 20’ wide for people to try casting their fly rods. We posted up with four wheel campers and Peterson Toyota in the back. Great event. Keep an eye on their schedule because they’re always something going on🙌🏽

8 months agoIdaho State Fair food. The Idaho ice cream potaotes are a favorite. I recommend Jones Burgers with caramelized onions. Pronto Pups are my husband's favorite. Skip the huckleberry shakes at Roy's. They aren't very creamy and don't have much flavor.

a month agoRented twice with this location and will not repeat. Rates were increased after reservations were placed, no mention of our event was ever put on the website or outside on the sign reader either year. This was despite the promises to do so. Workers hired to help set up the show were extremely friendly, but most office staff were incredibly rude and cold. Invoices appeared at random following a completed payment. Requested amount of chairs and tables was increased based on how many the center had available and not how many we needed. (EX: we only needed 70 tables , but 80+ were placed in the building so we were charged for 80+). When Rebecca worked here the center operated well. Now it is only getting more expensive with less quality. Other centers may be more, but it is worth the cost to save the headache.

a year agoThe layouts of the buildings are an advantage for large events. It allows for the spread out of vendors and displays while still providing enough room for visitors to stroll without feeling too much on top of others. There is also available space outside the main doors for display and vendor setup. The Roadster show on March 9, 2024, was nicely arranged for easy viewing and enjoyment.

2 years agoMy family and I love all the events Expo Idaho puts on! From car shows to pet shows, antique shopping expos, the kids fair, you name it! They have something for everyone including a bar (beer and alcoholic drinks) and a snack bar as well. We always have fun and it seems like they do something every weekend.
