Fête de Noël Winter Holiday Festival

Went there yesterday, they would not accept cash for the ice skating rink. You have to use a QR code to be able to participate. I did not ask if cards were accepted, but was not offered as a choice. Say you have no signal, no mobile data, no battery life on your phone, broken camera, or no phone at all. They really did discriminate based on socioeconomic status. I had money that I earned working which was received by cash, all accounted for through federal, state, and local levels. My legal federal tender was not accepted for a skate rental. They want to keep track of every single dollar that goes in there. Ruins the fun and Christmas spirit. The food selection had good variety and quality. I loved the wood fire pits and the bourbon barrel christmas tree (was there bourbon in them?). Old forester did well on their touches. I just hope they weren't the ones that chose to only accept skate rentals through digital means. Zamboni crew was entertaining to watch. That tall kid has very impressive skills.

Fun outdoor activity for all ages! The lights between the little shops are adorable. Santa was awesome and watching the skaters has become a family tradition at this time of year. We saw people bring their lawn chairs and sit by the huge movie screen, where The Polar Express was playing. Perfect holiday event! 😍

It was ok.. nice that it's outside but it's more crowded and pricier than other places in town.

An outstanding experience! I highly recommend The Cafe as well.
