What parents should know

Summarized from real visitor reviews.

Best for: Families seeking lively, interactive, and show-centric entertainment for New Year's Eve or similar holiday celebrations.Birthday parties or family gatherings looking for an 'energetic experience' with diverse activities for everyone.A fun 'good time out' for families, including those visiting from out of town, who value shared entertainment.Parents desiring a venue where both children and adults can genuinely enjoy a shared experience, particularly the live performances.Ideal for families with children of varying ages, including 'grandkids' (suggesting younger children) up through older kids who enjoy shows, attractions, and games.

Why families love it

  • Incredible and captivating live shows featuring dancers and specific themes like pirates or Christmas, appealing strongly to both kids and adults.
  • Provides an energetic and engaging experience with a variety of attractions and games designed for the 'entire family'.
  • Generally friendly and accommodating staff, with specific mentions of employees (Liz, Marie) being 'super super helpful to help accommodate the needs'.
  • Adults report genuinely enjoying the experience and the 'fantastic family moments' as much as the children.
  • Offers adult beverage options, evidenced by a 'TOP TIER' drink maker.
  • High-quality, engaging live shows (e.g., pirate show, Christmas show with dancers) as a central attraction.

Insider tips

  • Prior to purchasing, especially for special events or through Groupons, explicitly confirm all inclusions and features, as offerings can change or be inconsistent.
  • If specific activities like face painting are a priority, plan to visit earlier in the evening as staff for these services may depart before closing (e.g., by 9:20 PM).
  • Manage expectations regarding the consistency of special event themes (e.g., 'glow in the dark'), as they may not always be fully implemented or explained.
  • Be prepared for potentially higher costs if attending with a large group of children.
  • Consider past positive experiences (like birthday parties) as indicators of overall potential, but be aware of recent reports of decline.

Good to know before you go

  • Expecting consistent special event features or Groupon inclusions without explicit, recent confirmation, due to reported inconsistencies.
  • Relying on specific individual services like face painting late in the evening, as staff may leave early.
  • Visiting with an assumption of uniform high service quality if a decline has been noted by recent customers (e.g., between October 2024 and April 2025).
  • Situations where a lack of clear employee communication about event changes would significantly detract from the family's experience.
  • Significant inconsistency in special event offerings and inclusions; for instance, a 'glow party' Groupon in April 2025 lacked items (glow bags, arcade cards) and the 'glow in the dark' theme itself, which were included in October 2024.
Crowds
One negative review was for a 'Friday night glow party', which might imply higher attendance or potential for crowds during special evening events. No other explicit mentions of specific crowd levels or quiet times are provided.
Value
Can be perceived as 'expensive' for larger families (e.g., 6 children). Value is considered high when all advertised features, especially the shows and special event inclusions, are delivered as expected. However, the value significantly decreases when Groupon deals or special event packages provide inconsistent benefits (e.g., missing glow accessories, arcade cards) compared to previous purchases or expectations, leading to disappointment.
Food
On-site food and drink options are available, indicated by staff working in the 'kitchen' and an employee making 'adult beverages'. No explicit policy on outside food or drinks is mentioned in the reviews.
Safety
No explicit safety features like staff supervision ratios in play areas, first aid stations, or controlled entry/exit systems are mentioned. A concern about staff attentiveness was indirectly raised with the face painter incident.

"Just visited out of town all the way from Cleveland, Ohio, and it was an absolute amazing energetic experience. Everything from the staff, the attractions and the games there was something to do for the entire family. The host that helped us and who worked the kitchen Liz and the manager Marie were super super helpful to help accommodate the needs that our family needed.Absolutely would vote 10 out of 10 and we would recommend anyone to go here for a visit a good time out or a family party."
