2 months agoJungle gym and caving system is in dire need of a good cleaning (inside and out). A thick layer of dust on all of the slides and crevices of the climbing ropes. My daughter would not go into the caving system because it smelled like poop. She seriously asked “daddy, did somebody poop in there?” It’s so nasty. The first thing my wife and I noticed was the extremely dirty black awnings.

a year agoSo many fun climbing walls and obstacles. Great for older kids and parents too! Elementary school and middle school age kids will love this. There is an auto belay system attached to each climbing station. You are on your own to clip in and out. Some of the clips are a little tricky. It's best to stay with your kids to help with the clips. Kids climb for $20 for 1 hour and parents that want to climb pay $10. The staff fits you into a harness that you wear for the duration of your climb. It's an extra $3 per person if you want to do the slide. Included: about 30 climbing stations, an overhead obstacle course, a tunnel cave and a soft climbing play area. Wear gym shoes and athletic clothes. No jewelry, Make a reservation in advance!

2 years agoI recently took my son to Funtopia and it was an absolute blast! The facility was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The highlight of our visit was definitely the rock climbing wall. My son is an avid climber and he was blown away by the variety of routes and the challenge of the wall. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful, offering tips and encouragement throughout the climb. In addition to the rock climbing, there was a range of other fun activities for kids of all ages. My son loved the trampoline park and the obstacle course, and I was happy to see that there were plenty of games and activities designed for younger children as well. Overall, I had a great experience at Funtopia Glenview and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, active, and safe place for kids to play. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great time, and I can't wait to go back again!

2 months agoI cannot think of what type of person would own this establishment and NOT clean it. NO ONE should take their children to play here. Every play structure is covered in a black sheet of filth and grime. There is a build up of dust on the jungle gym as well as the stench of old sweat throughout the area. Don’t get me started on the caves, they smelled of actual human feces and decaying flesh. The owner of Funtopia seriously needs to respect their fellow human beings and CLEAN THIS PLACE.

2 years agoWent here for a birthday party so can't speak on the price. I will say, it was fun enough that I'd recommend it and look forward to coming back. It's pretty much a rock climbing place with different themed walls. Think castle, beanstalk, volcano, and more. Probably best for kids 8± who are already big climbers. The quality of the equipment all looked top notch. My only two issues were the staffing and the use of the harnesses. There weren't many staff members so when I had a question it could take a bit to find someone. The harnesses would click in fine, but removing the key took a lot of work.
