a week agoLast week I was there with a huge group for an expo. Wow! This place is so beautiful. It was small cities within one place. There were many places for photo opportunities. The light, music, and water show in delta area was amazing. They catered some our meals. The salad dressing they served i with i knew what it was. It was so good. They did need to provide more tables and seating for our business expo event meals. I feel that was one area they dropped the ball. But all the food was so yummy. Walking distance to the opry was prefect. We took the shuttle over to the opry. The driver missed a turn so that ride was longer than it would have been to just walk. There are all kinds of places to eat there we tried the pizza very good . Ate frome the marketplace as well it was good too. I felt like the bed was a smaller queen but I was really tired so who knows . The room was clean and well kept. Housekeeping top notch!!! Oh we did get locked out of our room but we left with just one of the 2 keys we'd asked for. And we'll when we got back to room at 10pm the key didn't work. Got lucky and someone that was staying in room across the way called the desk for us and security came checked id's and let us into our room and got us new keys. This happens everywhere. If we ever go back there I hope to bring my mom she would love it. Beautiful place. Wonderful staff. And so clean.

a week agoService was very good. Airports have similar pricing and quality. I drove to a local coffee shop every morning, for a much more reasonable and quality breakfast. Room was clean but needed a visit from maintenance. Atmosphere of the public areas was great and very well appointed for the conference I attended. I would likly stay some where else near by, if I had to go to another conference.

2 weeks agoRooms are average at best. Would someone please tell the people that clean the rooms to look up....every place we stay the bathroom has mold on the ceiling in the shower??? The Gaylord Nashville is like Disneyland. There were kids everywhere running around through the halls like the hotel was the amusement. Multiple rooms with family signs should have been the warning. I have kids too but understand how to be a parent and not let my kids run wild. I can say I've been there and won't be back. We visited for the Opry which was great. Btw, parking is $37 to self park & $50 for valet per night. Staff at the hotel are not very helpful either.

a week agoVery nice rooms - had a room with balcony overlooking the garden. Right across from the Grand Ole Opry and walking distance to Opry Mills mall. (10 minute walk). 6 minute walk to offsite convenience store if you want to save money on drinks to store in the fridge in your room. Lots of nice places to hang out inside the hotel along with shops and food (ice cream, cinnamon rolls, and restaurants)

3 weeks agoI really enjoyed this property!! I was there for a business trip. It's huge, like a mini city within itself, and I think they do a good job of placing people throughout the property to assist in directing you. The staff and service were top-tier! More room was nice, and my bed was comfortable. A friend mentioned she felt like her bed needed a new mattress. I wanted more affordable and healthier food choices. It is a resort, so things were pricey. The only thing I would like to note.... if you do Valet and you're a Tipper, please BRING CASH !!!!!! The property is cashless, and their valet system is on point....except after each time you valet your car, they give you any opportunity to tip via link or QR code. DON'T DO THIS. Because of this, I asked a couple of valets if they then just put it in a pot and divided it up, and they said NO.......THE MONEY GOES TO THE HOTEL, NOT TO THE VALETS.
