a week agoThis tour was so worth it. It’s an easy paddle even for inexperienced kayakers. There was clear paddling instruction given, as well as safety guidelines before the tour. In our group there were 4 kayaks of two people each along with our guide. The guide (Jenny) was exceptional - knowledgeable, experienced and funny. I thought we were just going to paddle around a pretty area, but Jenny shared so much about the beauty around us, the birds in the area, the species of mangroves (which are so cool to paddle through), manatees and other animals. Great for older kids with a parent. You paddle two people to a clear kayak (not sure what the benefit of it being clear was, unless perhaps the water might be clearer at other times of the year) for 2+ hours but it was relaxing and fun. Be sure to bring your own water bottle for hydration. If you have hearing issues stay close to your guide so you can benefit from what they are sharing. I would definitely recommend GET UP AND GO KAYAKS!

4 months agoIncredible experience! Jenny was an absolutely amazing tour guide and had so many insights to give into the routes and environment for our small group. Great engagement throughout and the trails and wildlife were a beautiful sight to see. Wholly recommend for any occasion or just to get to meet enthusiastic and passionate people such as Jenny.

2 months agoSuch a wonderful experience. We saw a variety of wildlife (including our fair share of coconuts!) and greatly enjoyed the paddle along the Oleta. While we didn’t see any manatees, we saw great blue herons, ibis, egrets, turkey vultures, and even a hawk catch a fish and fly overhead with their breakfast. Des was a fantastic guide! She led us gently along and ensured to point out the differentiating colours of the mangroves along the way. The girls said Des deserves 10 stars! While we agree, Google taps out at 5. Would absolutely recommend. Don’t forget to bring a hat.

4 months agoJenny, our tour guide, was passionate and friendly and gave a great tour!! We booked the trip to see a manatee in its natural habit and that did not happen; no fault of the tour guide and we did see beautiful birds and vegetation.
