Ghost Ranch Exotics and Funny Foot Farm

We took a day trip 10 hours round trip just to visit some Capybaras for the first time. It did not disappoint! We were the first visitors of the day so we had the place to ourselves. Follow the Google maps and it is about 10-12 minutes on a dirt roads once you leave the main asphalt road. We did the 1 hour all animal tour, so glad because we have never gotten so close to or seen some of these animals in real life! Traci our guide is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I would say the Patagonia Mara’s make the cutest sounds, so soft too. The Agoutis is another little animal we’d never heard of as well, and is equally friendly as the other animals. The warthogs, porcupines, emus, water buffaloes, and baby goats were an unexpected experience. I highly recommend this tour and will hopefully return with friends and family.

Awesome Ranch! We had a group tour with Traci as our host and she was wonderful. She gave us information about all the animals and was happy to answer any questions we had. I absolutely loved the Patagonian maras and the baby goats were cuteness overload! And I think those porcupines eat better than I do! We got to feed them some delicious sweet potatoes. They have a newer location and looks like they are getting established nicely. I would recommend checking this place out. They have "locals days" for affordable price points so be sure to check out their website for information before heading over.

We booked the capybara experience and it was better than we could have expected. the owners are friendly, informative, and fun. Our experience included going in to pet the goats and hold the baby goats! We saw peacocks/peafowls, a donkey, a water buffalo, and other animals, up close. The grounds are clean and the animals have amazing, spaces. Every animal’s name and personality is known and shared. We will be back!! Highly recommended

Our tour was absolutely fantastic! Traci and Ryan were so wonderful to us and let us experience animals that we would never be able to see on a regular basis. I got to hold a baby goat, pet, a capybara, and even a water buffalo! The experience was fantastic, and the staff was great. They even had a small gift shop where you can pick out goodies to take home that were created by artists at the ranch! I never knew I can fall in love with a warthog, but they were just the sweetest most gentle creatures!

This place is amazing, to put it simply. Going here and seeing all this different types of animal who were all clearly so loved and cared for melted my heart, we got to feed some of the animals snacks handed to us, and we learned so much about them both out in the wild and the particular creatures here in the ranch. My favorite had to be the goats at the end, they all had so much personality and were so friendly as well. Best tour ever, was an absolute blast. Please do yourself a favor and come visit, it's a experience you don't want to skip out on.
