Giraffe Ridge

"So much fun! Always a joy to feed the giraffes! Get in line a couple minutes early. Masks required, hand washing required before. 4 dollars per person to feed, which is 2 pieces of lettuce. Totally worth it!"

"The day we were taking our grandfather to the zoo, I was so excited to have her feed the giraffes. Because of the posted times on the website, I thought we had missed it because we didn't get there until 10, but they had a feeding going on just as we got to the giraffes. The staff was pleasant and tried to keep the animals close for the children to feed. It seemed it was a struggle for them after a bit. She was so nervous. It was fun to watch. We enjoyed it. It was the highlight for me to see her overcome her fear and feed two of them. She learned about them and herself in the process."

"Excellent part of the Cincinnati zoo. Five giraffes, two toddlers. Can feed them lettuce for a price ($3 a piece... pricey but the kids like it and the profit goes to the zoo obviously). Great viewing platform overlooking their out door area. Also have windows into their quarters to watch them inside."
