a year agoGirls Rock Math is amazing and I recommend it to anyone interested in their daughter having a fun, educational and inspiring week(s!!!) at camp! My daughter loves math, crafts, making friends and she had an AMAZING time at camp! She raved about it everyday and was singing the women centric camp songs on the ride home which seriously brought me to tears hearing the lyrics. She begged us for her to stay at aftercare, she was having that much fun! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for creating this amazing experience for my daughter!!!!!

4 years agoMy daughter has done 3 summers of Girls Rock Math and they've been great! She loves the adult professional staff, the younger counselors in training, and the creative way math is incorporated into so many topics. The camps also include a really strong girls empowerment focus, which feels completely unique from other programming I've come across. We're so happy that in-person camps are resuming again in 2021!

4 years agowe've done GRM camps for a couple of years now. always one of the highlights of our summer! a good mix of math, science, arts, outdoor fun, and girl empowerment. they've always been well organized on site and generally happy and positive. the people who work there enjoy what they do, and it shows. my daughter came back from day camps with excitement about what she'd learned and interest in doing more. glad they're back with in person camps for 2021!

4 years agoWe had a great experience with GRM last year that my daughter wanted to do it again this year. Last year, when Covid hit, my kid did in-person camps that were outdoors; because online courses were not for her. The in-person camp was safe, fun and they spend a lot of outdoor time. I would highly recommend GRM!

4 years agoI was impressed with the pivot to online camp, and while it was not a true substitute for the in-person, full-day experience, the staff did a remarkable job of holding my child's attention such that I did not have to be hands-on with her during her camp time, and she still made friends, and learned and created a lot. The supplies they sent in advance were organized well and she was able to operate the video platform easily. Overall I thought they did a great job, and actually I hope they will run something like this during the academic year.
