2 years agoNice park for kids but the playground is frequently closed for repair. When it isn’t under repair if there is even a chance of rain with clouds in the sky they will also lock the gates which is quite frustrating. I always have to manage expectations with my kid otherwise mass crying will occur. As an alternative to the playground the water fountain at the top of the park the kids can run around in. It is usually open and a great place to go with kids during the summer. It has a Starbucks for the parents to get a coffee while the kids play and public washrooms that are a bit nicer.

6 years agoThis playground is one of the few great things for little kids in DTLA considering there is not much for them. Walk to the northern side of the park and you've got the splash pad play area (Arthur J. Will Memorial Fountain) as well.
