a year agoMe and my child are in love with this place. If you love rock climbing as much as we do, you will understand what I am writing about next. A huge selection of tracks to complete, from zero level to professional. Great atmosphere. Very friendly and professional staff. You can climb alone, together, in a group, participate in competitions, and raise your level. I'm in love, that says it all.

a month agoWe took the lead class: 6 hours over two days March 15-16, 2025 taught by Brett and John. They did a teriffic job! Brett explained his teaching points clearly and thoroughly and followed a nice progression. Both Brett and John provided patient one on one help as needed and had good eyes for identifying and correcting mistakes. I like the active format -- we got right into clipping, belaying, and climbing. Most important: I feel well prepared to pass the lead test when we take it in a couple of weeks.

a year agoWe just did the bouldering section, but it was a great price with routes that challenged our skillset and technique. They seemed to grade their routes fairly. The place is kept clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The height of the bouldering wall was maybe 10 ft high, so good for people who are more scared of heights since it doesn't reach too high up. We came on a Saturday before New Years around 3pm and it wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get in quite a few routes in 2 hours.

a month agoI recently took a lead climbing class at Granite Arch. It was taught by Brett and John. The class was excellent! Brett was very thorough and explained all the techniques very well. Brett and John spent a lot of individual time with each one of us to make sure that we understood every technique. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in learning how to lead!

2 months agoSuper fun to climb! There are 6 places to climb. Those are clip-ins. There is also belting, and boulder. I only did the clip-ins. I tried boulder, but it did not have that rope, and I was scared I would get stuck at the top. You can also take classes, and bring your own harness. You can also rent it. You can rent climbing shoes too! Recommendation: Add more clip-ins.
