7 months agoMy favorite part of this park is the Beverly Cleary sculpture "garden." There are only three sculptures: Ramona, Henry the neighbor, and his dog Ribsy. I wish Beezus had been there too. As the oldest child, I really relate to Beezus. When my friend and I visited this place, the area around the sculptures was a splash pad. We had a lot of fun playing in the water.

a year agoVery nice park and playground! Tons of cool trees, a fountain, mix of modern and old-school play structures, and lots of green space. My only gripe is that there’s no fence between the playground and busy 33rd Ave. Plus there’s a downward slope toward the street so not the safest.

8 years agoEasy free parking. Off leash dog area with consistently respectful owners. Clean restrooms. Water feature, splash area for tots. Playground with old school slide. 6 tennis courts in great shape with lights for night play. Soccer pitch with Nike turf. Public outdoor pool. Running track.
