2 months agoAwww! Addo is so cute! When you finally get the chance of Modernization, you should at least have a second floor for each of your new primate houses so that we can please see even more species such as Mandrills (returning after at least a whole decade or two), Congo peafowl (in case your gorillas don't get along with them), and even a troop of Monkey Skinks. You may not quite have the topography for elephants or hippos, but thankfully, you have the topography for tapirs, capybaras, rheas and even some three species of lemurs! Please consider adding lemurs and raccoons back in the short term since putting inclusion of live Thomson's gazelles and even giant sable antelope in the zoo's collection on hold is understandable!

4 years agoI appreciate this exhibit. These animals were born in captivity and they appear to be cared for. I’ve come to the zoo and visited this exhibit many times over the years and it was great to see a baby gorilla was born here and it was great to see the baby orangutan thriving. I highly recommend. I will be back and it was great to see measures are being taken to protect all involved during this Covid pandemic.

5 years agoIt was fun to see the Apes out and about on their wooden structure. One was sitting right next to the glass by us. I'd highly recommend swinging by this exhibit while at the Zoo.
