a week agoWe had a great time despite the crowds and the cost. Avoid the weekends if possible. It was way too busy. Kids were running amuck without supervision and, at night, they ran up the halls well past quiet hours. The water was cold and never quite seemed to warm up. Staff was super friendly and the facilities felt clean. The room was nice, but ours was a long distance from the elevator. The food was below average theme park food. I expect to pay a premium at a place like this, but these prices were absurd for the quality. The Italian dinner buffet was good but still not worth the cost. There are not many places to eat nearby so plan to bring your own food, snacks, and drinks to keep in the room (mini fridge but no microwave.) You cannot bring outside food into the waterpark. We did one overnight, which gave us two days in the park, and that was plenty. Our 6yo wasn't interested in any of the add-on activities. If they were, we would have bought them a la carte. The Wolf Pack package wouldn't have been worth it for us.

a week agoOur family trip was fantastic! The kids had a blast with the indoor water park, arcade, and various indoor and outdoor activities suited for both children and adults. The property had a friendly atmosphere and plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained. We stayed in a standard room, which was clean and met basic expectations. The restrooms were well-maintained. While the food options were diverse and enjoyable, they were a bit pricey—Dunkin' Donuts was conveniently on-site, and Wawa was just a short walk away (13mins). The lifeguards and cleaners did a great job of ensuring safety and cleanliness. Overall, it was a memorable experience, especially for the kids!

2 weeks agoWe had an absolutely amazing stay at Great Wolf Lodge! From the moment we arrived, everything was geared toward making it a fun, relaxing, and memorable experience for the whole family. The water park was a total hit with the kids—nonstop fun and adventure! There were so many great activities for the little ones to enjoy, and the wait times for the slides were impressively short, even during peak hours. It really helped keep the energy up and the fun going all day long. A huge shoutout to the lifeguards, who were attentive, professional, and clearly very well-trained. They gave us such peace of mind while the kids played. Now for the real stars of our visit: Brandi, the bartender inside the water park, was an absolute gem—friendly, upbeat, and made the best drinks! She made the adult part of our trip feel just as special as the kid-focused fun. And at Hungry as a Wolf, Kimberly B. went above and beyond with her service. She was warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home during our meal. You can tell she really cares about making each guest's experience a great one. All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Great Wolf Lodge gets a big thumbs up from our whole crew—we’ll definitely be back!

a week agoI was highly disappointed. I thought this would be a little more upscale than what it was. It took us 2 hours to check in and get to a point to eat lunch. It was like a free for all. No real schedule or way to go about the place. No direction. Then the Timber's staff weren't helpful at all. The ordering menus are confusing. The staff were also rude and arrogant. I got a few ad ons and they were a waste for me. If they had a little more flexibility in the meals, it would have been better. I was charged for items that I didn't purchase on 2 different occasions. They did take them off without an issue when I said something but I may not have caught it. There weren't enough tubes for the lazy river and it was almost impossible to get one. There weren't enough life guards for the amount of people in the water park. There weren't enough tubes for the slides either. Getting in and out of the restroom in the pool area was blocked. Really bad placement for the swimsuit dryer. The bathrooms in the lobby area were disgusting. They had food everywhere, blood, and un-flushed toilets. It was very very loud. You couldn't hear the Magiquest game. Guests or day pass guests were rude and entitled. Great Wolf has no control over that though. I would say it was 45% good/55% bad visit. My son did have a good time. And that made me have a good time.

a week ago- The family did enjoy the water park but there were many accommodations that could use improvements. - The room was nice but there was no bathroom vents. - No towels, washcloths, soaps or toiletries for a room that accommodates 6 people. When requesting toiletries I was told to buy them at the gift shop and rags/towels were left in a bag on the hallway floor without he courtesy of anyone knocking at the door to acknowledge delivery.. - Daily room service is by request only but there is no documentation in the rooms to make customers aware of various rules. I would think there would be no issue with early check ins and definitely should not be a fee if guest rooms aren’t cleaned daily. - Activities like bowling, mini golf & climbing should be a part of the activities package instead of separate charges for guests. - Guests should be able to add food packages upon arrival or during the reservation process. It’s helpful to get a gauge of what is offered to allow you to make an informed decision knowing food quality and the value of packages. - There were not sufficient trash cans in the room and many guests had trash, towels and even dirty diapers littering and smelling up the hallways of an otherwise nice hotel. - The hotel also mentioned fees and surcharges for special occasions. I didn’t see it upon making my reservation. - I feel that although online features and apps are great guests shouldn’t be required to download an app for their visit to get a map, attraction times, restaurant closing times, etc. in an amusement/water park I tend to leave my phone behind to avoid damage. Having a fully staffed front desk would be preferable where general information is communicated. The front desk lines were extremely slow with few people in them each time I tried to get service. Some information wasn’t received by using the check in kiosk which glitched on me & made me start the check in process twice. I also still had to wait in line to get a parking pass. - It was nice that a representative did text me and I was able to express general needs because the front desk phone was constantly busy no matter when they were called. The only issue with that is you can spend hours texting them only for housekeeping not to show up after a multiple hour wait. When a representative asks you what they can do to make things better and you provide a solution only to be offered complimentary wolf ears was insulting as the representative acted as if their hands were tied on any customer service remedies to make things right. - The hotel could use some additional elevators. There is only one set of elevators in the center of the hotel but guests could have a walk the equivalent of two city blocks to get to their room which is not friendly to elderly or anyone with physical limitations. There is only other options was to take the stairs. And there is still a very long walk to the main area.
