4 months agoI love the new seating and stage here. The vibe is great and there isn't a bad seat in the house. I wish the food was a little refined, but we were there on New Year's Eve on a limited menu. The food came out in cardboard/paper dishes and with plastic utensils. The waitstaff was super friendly and helpful. They were great and prompt. The drinks are strong! When I return, I'll probably stick to the wine so it's more predictable. I'll definitely come back and plan to eat ahead of time. This is a venue I want to see more shows in!

a year agoI was wowed by the style and vibe that this place carries. The place is chic without being intimidating and the staff was professional but friendly. The Lounge outside the theater doesn't have many tables but the bar is long and well stocked. The theater room is beautiful and quirky. The seats are very close to one another so you'll be in close proximity of other people especially sitting at the bar table and at the tables in the middle of the room. You can eat at the lounge without a ticket or you can eat while watching a show but you'll obviously need a ticket for that. Before and during intermission the server came often to make sure we had everything we needed during the show. Cocktails are good but weak and the plates are well presented but small for the prices. The bathrooms are large enough that I didn't have to wait in line and they are clean. We were overall happy with the experience and we'll go back for other shows but the lounge food and cocktails could be improved in sizes and/or execution to justify the prices and the title of upscale bistro.

a year agoSo, what is up with the QR code system for ordering drinks? Literally took 22 minutes for it to accept my order of 4 drinks. Terrible, just hire more staff. Loved the show! Awesome lighting, sound system, seating, ambiance and over all experience!

10 months agoI have been to all of Pittsburghs' theaters except for this one. What brought me in? The music of Billie Holiday. I did not rate this venue and experience 5 stars because: the sound was too low for the singer, the lights were flashing into the audience's eyes, and the food was simply frightening (smelled and tasted foul). Aside from that - it was okay. Will I go back? Probably not. Parking was 30+ dollars.... And one glass of wine and appetizer was almost 40 dollars. Definitely not worth the time, the trip, nor the expense.
