Griffith Park Boys Camp

"At first we had heard great things about this camp. I have no doubt that it is great, however it seems that COVID-19 has hindered many of the activities that are usually available. Also, their upgrades may not be complete at this point, since my son had no mention of zip lining as the brochure mentions and since they had to go to an alternate pool. My son just came back yesterday and it sounded as if he had fun being away, but when we got to the more critical questions about his experience, it sounded like it was more like day summer camp (I really mean babysitting or after school enrichment)w"

"My son and I attended the mother/son weekend sleep away camp. It was really fun. You can tell the counselors love what they do and they are great at it. The boys look up to them. I hear the sleep away camps for just boys are just as great. And they have other weekend events as well. Such a great experience for all with a wonderful staff overseeing it all the way through."

"I have been coming to this park my whole life. It is a wonderful place. As a kid we'd go to a train ride and also ride horses, plenty of areas for picnicking, there's a merry-go-round a golf course, a zoo. There's more than enough hiking trails and a great hiking group that gather a few times a week and their called the Sierra Nevada Club. During Christmas season there's an area lit up for the people to enjoy. It truly is a great park!!"
