a year agoI stumbled on to this museum completely by accident on my birthday vacation to New Orleans, and ended up being one of the best parts of my trip!! I had the great honor of meeting Mrs. Herreast Harrison. She allowed me to come visit the museum, even though it was undergoing some minor renovations. I only expected to be there under an hour, but spent the entire afternoon (4 hours!) at the museum, and had an amazing and highly educational experience. Mrs. Harrison and her family have done phenomenal work over the decades. The way they keep Donald Harrison Sr.’s legacy alive, is simply amazing. Whether you live in NOLA, or are visiting, make a trip to this beautiful museum. The suits, the art, the history, the legacy…awing and inspiring.
