"We went to see Mid summers night dream, the story was pretty good, the acting was professional and fun. The stage however felt like it was high school level with a $70 price attached... Unimpressed by the stage set up. It needs more props, more bang, more animation and more uniqueness. Beautiful facility though with good actors and a lot of potential if they improve the stage sets."

"I had not been to the Guthrie theater in 15+ years. We had some family pictures taken there as well as we went to A Christmas Carol. This is a beautiful venue. Access and parking are plenty. Elevators for those who need them. The theater is a perfect size. There are bathrooms all around the theater and a bar that is easy to get to for a drink if you are so inclined (during shows only) The gift shop has some neat items and fun Minnesota things. Excellent venue for pictures; however the transparent floor triggered my fear of heights and that was a no go for me. I can’t believe people walk "
