"Hamilton Creek Recreation Area is an amazing spot for anyone who loves the outdoors! The park is peaceful, clean, and has beautiful views of Percy Priest Lake. There are great areas for kayaking, paddleboarding, and just relaxing by the water. The mountain biking trails are also really impressive — challenging, fun, and perfect for riders looking for an adventure. It’s a great place for a family picnic, a solo nature walk, or an afternoon on the water. Definitely a hidden gem near Nashville!"

"First time here. Love that they gave real restrooms. We got there late morning. We thought there was a sandy beach area but there is only grass. Definitely bring chairs or a large blanket to sit on. Perfect place to float in the water, paddle board or kayak. By late afternoon the parking lot was full and there was no place to park. Obviously a good place to hang with friends or family. You can rent kayaks or paddle boards."

"Low Key place. Went on a Tuesday, so it wasn’t very busy at all. Pretty views. Great place to canoe/paddle board or take the dog for a swim. Nice beach area- I don’t swim often in places other than my home, but I did here and would go back again.. bathrooms were locked which were kinda annoying, There was a Porter pot- thankfully I didn’t have to go in but had to change in/outside of the car."
