2 weeks agoI would recommend going. Very good children’s museum. This place had a number of great attractions, including topics around history and science. The activities were slightly basic, but the kids did have a great time anyway. The dig site does not have people working it all the time, so plan accordingly if you want to see the active geological and fossil site being worked in. You should call to confirm that the dig site is open if you have a kid really wanting to see an active dig site. Still a great place to spend a few hours, and get the kids minds working.

3 months agoI visited the museum with my two grandchildren who are 4 and 6. We spent 4 hours there. It is an amazing place on an an actual archeological site. The first building is a museum with artifacts and displays from the discoveries. The second floor is a working lab with fossils and paleontologists working at their desks. The children were able to observe this. The second building is a hand- on museum with carefully planned art activities and interactive science displays. The children had so much fun. They spent so much time in each area. I plan to return. It fascinating to see the area where the archeological excavations were being found. I highly recommend this museum.

a month agoI took my toddler to visit the discovery center for a few hours. He enjoyed exploring all of the hands on and learning exhibits available there. It was a great way to spend a rainy day.

2 months agoWe had a fantastic time at the Discovery Center Science Center today! A special thank you goes to BETH ♥️🙏, who did a wonderful job with the kids during the Valentine’s art projects. The children absolutely loved it! She was so kind and explained everything in the most patient and thoughtful way. Thank you for making our visit extra special!

a month agoOverall its a fun/good place. Definitely not like our old hands on and isn't very much to do that is "hands on" felt like they could add more for what we pay. But we still had a great time spent a few hours there with my aunt and my 3 kids and daughters boyfriend. Youngest and middle boy were only happy at the few hands on sections they had. Youngest didn't care too much of the fossils but he's only 7. Wish they would of incorporated some of the super fun things the original hands on had at least
