2 months agoVisiting this gym location for the first time was exciting and fresh, of a new bouldering gym experience! The staff are very friendly and informative in speaking with a new/ongoing member about their climbing journey, meanwhile as they help you out in using their equipment. The gym is small but offers more variety of holds and set challenges, that one would be going back to more than just warming up. I’m definitely heading over to Hanger18 again and thank you to the staff who are always very warm and friendly!

3 months agoA good variety of climbs, but the walls are not maintained very well. There are multiple spots with holes 3" wide, and the texture of some spots of the walls is more like painted wood than rock. Also many of the holds are very dirty or worn which indicates to me that they aren't washed very strenuously when routes are switched out. For 2/3 of the price of a Touchstone gym day pass, it's worth the money to just go there instead.

a year agoGreat for second visit and so on but the first visit was very confusing. The front desk just sat there chatting to one another and did the bare minimum for first timers to sign the waiver and that’s it. Nothing was explained about logistics of membership and stuff. The intro class was great though and it has everything you need about climbing. After the first time at Hangar, you basically know what to do. This gym is relatively new and clean. Can’t deny it’s a great environment for climbing. Just that the customer service is not beginner friendly at all, otherwise if you just go there and climb, it’s a good gym.

3 months agoNice bouldering gym with relatively stiff grading, though some of the walls don't have a very secure falling area. I would highly recommend spotting your partner on the walls leading to the weight room. Pricing okay for the area - expensive if you are used to european prices

a month agoService is good. They explain to you about the climbing equipment and how’s each one works. The place is rather small and u will see people need to stand back to back because it’s too cramped.
