💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →For birthday party planning, communicate directly with Alex, the Director of Operations, who is noted for excellent responsiveness and flexibility.
- →If maximizing direct gymnastics instruction time is a priority, inquire about the class structure as some classes may allocate 10-15 minutes to non-gymnastics activities.
- →Be prepared for bathrooms lacking hooks for bags or step stools for small children; consider bringing a portable hook or being ready to lift toddlers to the sink.
- →Factor in potentially high costs and limited ticket allowances (only one included) for recitals if your child plans to participate.
- →For birthday parties, expect flexibility for last-minute changes, such as deciding to open presents on-site.
Things to Consider
- ⚠Some teachers are reported to have difficulty keeping younger kids focused during classes.
- ⚠Up to 10-15 minutes of paid class time may be spent on non-gymnastics activities like games or reading books, reducing direct gymnastics instruction.
- ⚠Bathrooms lack hooks or tables for placing bags and step stools for young children to reach the sink.
- ⚠Waiting room chairs are uncushioned.
- ⚠The cost for recitals is considered 'unreasonably high,' especially as it includes only one ticket per participant, requiring additional purchases for more family members.
Price & Value
Birthday parties offer a high value due to their stress-free, full-service nature, though specific pricing is not provided. Class pricing is generally accepted, but the cost of recitals is described as 'unreasonably high' given that only one ticket is included per participant, suggesting additional costs for family members to attend.
♿Accessibility & Special Needs
- •No specific accessibility accommodations mentioned in the reviews.
- •A minor convenience concern: bathrooms lack step stools for young children, which could pose a challenge for children with limited reach or mobility.
🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •Outside food is allowed for birthday parties, with staff assisting in distribution and cake cutting.
🚗Parking Info
- •Parking situation is not mentioned in the reviews.
👥Crowd Levels
- •Classes have 'limited class sizes,' making the venue less 'over packed' compared to larger alternatives, suggesting generally manageable crowd levels during class times.
- •Birthday parties are staff-managed with structured activities, implying controlled crowd dynamics within the party area.
🛡️Safety Features
- •Gymnastics equipment is wiped down daily, promoting hygiene.
- •Coaches actively supervise and lead activities during parties, balancing free play with structured engagement.
- •The facility is consistently described as 'very clean.'
- •Equipment is the 'perfect size' for young children, contributing to an age-appropriate and safe environment.
⏰When to Avoid
- • Parents primarily seeking intensive, uninterrupted gymnastics training for young children, as classes may include significant time for non-gymnastics activities.
- • If expecting multiple family members to attend recitals without paying for extra tickets, as only one ticket is included per participant.
- • Families with older children who might find the environment too exclusively geared towards younger kids.

2 months agoWe celebrated our sons 4th birthday at Heart & Soul, and we had such a wonderful experience throughout the entire experience. Alex, the Director of Operations, was so great about communicating with me leading up to the event. She was quick to respond, and answered all of my questions. We chose to go with one of their decoration theme options (dinosaur), and I was SO impressed with how everything looked! My son really loved the two inflatable dinosaurs. I dropped off a few decorations to create a photo area, and the 2 coaches working did such a great job setting it up and making it look so cute for photos with friends and family. I didn't provide any input/guidance, and they did great! The two coaches leading the event did a great job of balancing free play and adding in some activities for the kids to do in the gym. The took the lead on everything - I could totally sit back and just enjoy being with friends and family and watch my son have a great time! My son decided last minute that he DID want to open presents on site, and they were so flexible with making sure we had time to do everything. They passed out food to everyone, cut the cake, helped us organize all of the presents as my son was opening them, and cleaned up everything. Honestly, it was SUCH a stress-free way to celebrate my kiddo's birthday. I 10/10 recommend hosting your child's birthday at this location!

a year agoMy son loves Heart & Soul. We originally started going to another gymnastics place with toddler classes around the corner from here, but it was so big and seemed over packed with kids of all ages doing classes at the same time. Heart & Soul is geared towards younger kids and they limit class sizes, which I really like. There’s enough room for my kid to be around other kids or to do his own thing if he’s feeling shy. The teachers are super patient and calm as well. All the equipment is the perfect size for him and everything feels very clean. I’m excited for my son to try the tap dancing and little ninja courses when he’s old enough.

7 months agoI would like to give a shout out to the trio that helped with my son’s birthday party today. By far the best group of coaches yet. They had a sensory table, games planned, a playlist made for just him, and they made slime at the end. I don’t want to forget that they not only decorated, but they served the food, they cleaned up, and they interacted so well with all the kiddos. They checked with me to make sure my son was comfortable with the games they would play. These ladies were super supportive, helpful, energetic, and most importantly FUN! Give them a raise!! I hope this reaches their boss because I want them to know how much of a wonderful day we had today with them!! We’ve had so many birthday parties here and will continue to. I had so many parents share with me how lovely of a party it was for them and their kiddos! Thank you so much! We love this gym so much!

a year agoMy kids LOVE this place! Their weekly combo classes (1/2 dance, 1/2 gymnastics) are a great way for kids to get a taste of both disciplines without spending a whole hour doing so. And the recent gymnastics showcase was simply the cutest event I've experienced in a long time! My 4-year-old daughter participated, and it was the perfect event for a child to experience a "real" showcase without the pressure! The coaches and instructors are so caring, and they put on a very professional yet kid-friendly event. Can't say enough great things about this business!

a year agoOverall, this is a good place for young kids to take dance and gymnastics class. Some teachers have a hard time keeping the younger kids focused but some do a really good job. Would like to see less time spent playing games at the beginning of gymnastics and reading books at the end. I pay for gymnastics class not the other stuff. I've heard several parents make the same comments. It often adds up to 10 to 15 mins of gymnastics time lost. Love that they wipe down the gymnastics equipment everyday. The bathrooms here are always clean but desperately need a hook or table for placing bags and a step stool for young kids to reach the sink. It's very hard to carry a purse and a dance bag and then also lift a toddler to the sink. Waiting room chairs could stand to have cushions. Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Cost to participate in recital is unreasonably high especially when you only get 1 ticket. Should at least include 2 tickets, one for each parent.
