House from A Christmas Story

They did a great job restoring the house to the way it was in the movie! You can touch all the items in the house, it's almost like you're in the movie! A museum with artifacts is across the street and is very interesting. Tour guide, Chuck, was very informative and gave a great tour! If you like the movie, you gotta check this place out!

All time favorite movie from my childhood so I had to visit. The tour of the house is very informative and you learn things even the biggest fan doesn't know. You can use the items in the house as props for pictures too so that's cool. Museum that you visit after the tour across the street where there's a bathroom to use after the tour was nice with a bit more info and pictures to take.

Awesome tour! Great guide full of facts and fan lore. Beautiful museum tour with so many pictures and artifacts included with ticket purchase. Great selection at gift shop. A memorable experience for the entire family.

If you like the movie, this is a good place to visit. There is the main house which is restored to be similar to the movie. There are some nuances that are different but that is understandable since, as a guest, you can sit on the furniture, etc. There is also the Bumbass house and museum. The interesting fact is that you can spend the night at the Bumbass house and the actual house. We stayed in the original house. There is a special entrance towards the back and I've included some pics of the areas you get exclusive access to. Was it worth it...mostly. the tour guide was very informative and funny. The tour was about as long as it needed to be. Would I visit again, no...don't really need to, for, seeing it once, was enough for me.

I absolutely love this movie, I've watched it since a young kid with my family so it's very sentimental and I was super excited to get to see it! The tour was awesome and the house is absolutely beautiful decorated just like it was in the film with . Antiques! Do you like this movie it's a must-see!
