a week agoNicely done free museum. The intel advertising and logo change over the years is particularly interesting. There is a fun AR video experience you can get texted to yourself. The bus goes straight there so it’s easy to get to. Highly recommend for any age if you’re in the area.

4 months agoVery well thought out museum highlighting the history of Intel and the leaps and bounds they have come from. The organization and layout is very intuitive to follow, the path is all chronologically ordered and details for each and every item on exhibit. The staff are very kind, patient, and pumped up to get visitors started experiencing the location. The whole exhibit can be experienced in an hour. The entrance is to the side of the main lobby. There is a gift shop as well with unique small crafts and outfits and accessories. There is a visitors area parking area and the crowd fluctuates depending on time of day and any large tours that are making a stop. This is a free museum and you can do a self guided tour or a guided tour by the staff. There are some neat interactive screens to play with too. Overall, a nice place to spend some time if you're in the general San Jose Silicon Valley area.

a month agoI visited the Intel Museum in Santa Clara, and it was a fantastic experience! This museum is a must-see for anyone interested in learning about the history and evolution of integrated circuits and chips. It offers great insights into how chip technology has shaped our modern world. Highly recommend it for a deep dive into the past and present of this incredible technology!

8 months agoReally pleasant free museum on the lower level of Intel. There are interactive exhibits with descriptions of the company, people, products, technology, and financials over time, as well as computers, photos, scrapbooks, and photos. I practiced writing my name in binary. I could have played the free video game. The docents were friendly and welcoming and happy to answer questions but were not obtrusive. Postcards and pencils are free as souvenirs, and there is a gift shop next door if you want additional swag. The bathroom was luxuriously stocked with feminine products in a basket, and along with the entire museum, was clean, quiet, and air conditioned. The free parking lot was on the right side in front of the building in a secured lot. There was plenty of clearly marked visitor parking. The Intel Museum was a welcome respite from a hot day in the South Bay and I am glad I stumbled across it.

7 months agoA great history of Intel with many fun exhibits to explore. Overall a small facility so it won't take too long to go through (I was there for 1.5 hrs). Worth coming by. Wish they had a few more interesting items in this gift shop (would be neat to buy a CPU wafer for instance (you can find tons on eBay for cheap)).
