8 months agoA beautiful park to spend a relaxing day walking the trails or just admiring the views of nature and exploring the landscape of the park. Good to walk with someone else as the trails are very lonely. Cant wait until the fall to see all the beautiful trees changed their colors.

Just a heads up: it’s called Inwood Hill Park, not to be confused with Inwood Park in the Bronx! This one has the HILL! P.S. a year agoHidden Gem of a park! I been living in the area for about 2 months and I never bothered to explore this park for the lack of good pictures, but im pleasantly surprised at how cool and dense this trail is. Its 100% covered by trees, it feels nice and shady with some challenging hills. I wouldn’t recommend taking dogs here because of the wild life but it’s certainly allowed. It took me about 1 hour to walk the big loop and the whole time I felt like I was outside the city breathing fresh air.

11 months agoInwood Hill Park in uptown NYC is truly a gem, especially during the weekdays when it transforms into a peaceful retreat perfect for enjoying good weather and sunshine. My husband and I love to take leisurely strolls around the park, soaking in the stunning views of the Hudson River. It’s our go-to spot to unwind and connect with nature amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The park holds a special place in my heart, bringing back fond memories of my childhood. I remember watching my dad play baseball with his local team, though my attention was often captured by the surrounding nature and wildlife. The joy of exploring the natural beauty of the park is something I cherish to this day. Another highlight of our visits is stopping by Inwood Farm Café. Their coffee and pastries are the perfect complement to our park outings. Plus, it’s a bit special for us since we both worked there briefly together... Say hi to Tom! Inwood Hill Park offers a unique blend of tranquility, nostalgia, and natural beauty, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and reflection. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or just looking for a serene escape, this park is an absolute treasure.
