a month agoThe park itself doesn't have much to do, but we went for the sidewalk chalk art competition which was absolutely amazing. Didn't see any restrooms, but there were porta-potties that I think they brought out for the competition (no handwashing stations). The park is right across from the downtown library, parking was meh due to tons of construction in the area.

4 months agoNice little urban park in Downtown Jacksonville. There are many things around like City Hall, Art museum, library. I enjoyed walking around and seeing murals and art pieces on streets.

a month agoThe area is nice, the park is one square block with no big mouth sculpture to be found so that was disappointing. The area artwork and architecture made it worth the time walking around the area though.

2 months agoBeautiful place. Visited last night during the Art Walk Festival, which happens every first Wednesday of each month from 5-9pm. It was a fun experience. Vendors of all mediums of art meet. Weather through out the streets around the Park, the Museum and other business and even the Church at the corner. Good food, dessert makers, painters, drawers, photographers and of course, music. Nice experience, nothing fancy on the contrary very laid back kind of vibe. Plenty police presence to make sure it all runs safe & peacefully.

8 months agoMy son and I went to the Main Library and to Sweet Petes, which both are located across from this park. At the park, there's music, art, Chess, a water mist tent my son treated like a water park on this hot day, plenty of space for him to run, an enjoyable, attractive grassy area and a nice change from all the downtown buildings. The Skyway is also right there next to the park. Nice time, as there are places to sit and things to see. A perfect place to chill, take your dog, take a break, to kill time to go to your next destination or a perfect walk through to just keep it moving.
