Jefferson Park

Jefferson Park is such a beautiful spot! I visited with my husband and our 3-year-old son, and we all had a great time. The park offers something for everyone—there are amazing views, a nice walking path, and a couple of playgrounds that kept our little one entertained. The newer playgrounds are perfect, with one designed for younger kids and another for older ones. We loved the outdoor workout equipment along the lower path too—it’s a fun way to get some exercise while enjoying the fresh air. The view of the city is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset, and the park's location on a hill makes it even more scenic. It’s a peaceful place to relax, with friendly people and even bike tools available for anyone who needs them. Definitely a spot we’ll visit again!

Easy place to enjoy some of the best views in the city.

Jefferson park provides something for everyone. I visited on a Sunday morning, and it wasn't crowded. There is a short path for walking, and a couple of playgrounds if you are trying to keep children entertained. I also liked the bodyweight exercises equipment installed along a lower path! The park is on a hill which provides a great view over Richmond, too!

Another Church Hill Park with amazing views, pleasant shady paths and lots of benches to enjoy. It's filled with little details that reward revisiting throughout the year. The breezes on the top of the hill are lovely.
