What parents say
"Beautiful park, convenient urban escape. Spring is a great time to visit. Only thing missing is some sound barrier for the 195 and Sunset Boulevard. The constant buzz of the cars makes it hard to fully appreciate being out in nature."

"This place is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, it is located between the freeway and sunset right at the climb out of Spokane. The noise is really excessive. Washington should really put sound walls along the freeway to protect this park, not to mention the people who live there. Otherwise, it is amazing and still 4 stars."

"Lovely green space just outside of downtown Spokane. They hold an annual Arbor Day festival each spring with local city resources on gardening and tree planting as well as composting and waste management. There are arts and craft activities for the kids and they give out free compost bins to Spokane residents (come early while supplies last!)"
