Jubilee Theatre

"The Movement" is a must-see. This production was phenomenal! It brought us to tears, took us to church, and told the story of the struggle. This was an acpella musical, and those young people were some AMAZING and OUTSTANDING singers. The spirit and soul of the production.... we'll definitely come see again! Powerful!

I had a wonderful experience at the Jubilee Theater. It was my first time. Given the size of the theater and the slope of the seating, there's isn't a bad seat in the house. The sound quality was a little off at times, but that did not take away from the show. Upon arrival, there was a pre show performance (which I was unaware of). Because you have to walk on stage to get to your seat, I felt a little awkward walking in front of a performer in character. The production itself was WONDERFUL. I highly recommend visiting this gem of Black theater. I will most certainly be returning for future shows.

Very nice event. I attended Auntee Explains Xmas. The volunteers were very professional and polite. I wish they offered snacks and beverages.
