3 years agoI went with a group going from LLELA to Hebron Pkwy and had a great experience! Our guides made sure we all felt confident and coached us through navigating any of the tricky bits. All 9f the little details were thought of (making sure we all had properly fitting life jackets, whistles, glasses straps, time to eat a snack part way through, re-apply sunscreen, etc).

6 years agoWent on a trip from LLela to Hebron PKWY this past weekend with Kayak Power and the Friends Of LLELA. What a super experience! Kayak Power did everything they could to make sure everyone was having a safe and enjoyable experience. It was the hottest day of the year so far so the cool water coming off of the Lewisville Dam was refreshing. Mike and his crew constantly checked on us to make sure we had plenty of water. My wife and I had thought about running this section of the Trinity before on our own. I am glad we decided to go with Kayak Power for our first trip. They made sure we had a complete understanding of how to navigate several of the big strainers and had folks stationed along them to help us all steer our way through them safely. All in all an excellent experience and I would certainly recommend and use Kayak Power again.

6 years agoUsed them as part of a HATS (High Adventure Treks) outing. The instruction was great. Very thorough. Took an hour to go over the different type of Kayaks and when they're used. Went through different exercises to made sure we knew how to paddle correctly. Highly recommended.
