2 months agoI love this place. Great place to not talk to strangers and just mind your own business. Not the place to bring your dog with bad recall and poor manners. There tends to be a lot of trash washed up on the beaches so bring trash bags and help with the clean up effort. I’m giving a poor rating because it is a little sketchy but truly I don’t want you to come here because it’s better with less people.

a week agoWe love this park for early morning stops and playing in the water! It's our go-to on a sunny morning! The nature sounds and sights are amazing at this park!

a year agoKelly Point Park is a very beautiful park, albeit it is in a very remote location that has little to no options to get to unless you take a car. For an urban park, I wish it was more friendly to cyclists and pedestrians but ah well. Getting here by bike was a pretty miserable experience, I would not recommend going here unless you take a car. The park itself was very pretty, full of nature and greenery. The only thing I didn't like about the park were the huge parking lots that are within it, the park itself would much more enjoyable if there was more space for nature and less for car storage.

3 weeks agoBeautiful place where two rivers meet, close to the airport, you see airplanes fly by close, you see multiple boats, ferries and barges float by. On a sunny day it is a great beach to be. Downsides - there might be fishing hooks around, broken glass. Wound not swim, swimming not allowed on signs. But the shore is great sand, good for sun bathing, “beach” day within city limits and close proximity.

a month agoDo not take your pets here!!! After a fun day filled with sunshine an good vibes.. we came home an within 2 hours our dog was violently ill puking / pooping blood.. when taken to the vet they confirmed with toxicology reports he had been exposed to Blue Algea. He literally almost DIED!!! 🥺 So yes this place is nice, an beautiful in spots, but make sure if your visiting your leaving your fur babies at home!
