a year agoTo reiterate previous posts, the description of this location is not completely accurate. This park is located in a residential neighborhood. There is no parking lot, so you park in front of people's homes. The concrete trail is mainly for biking and any of the tributary trails have signs for no dogs. I felt out of place walking on this trail since you are just about in people's backyards as well as parking in front of people's homes. It seems this trail is more for the residents in the area to walk their pets. I didn't stay long due to this, but it definitely a beautiful neighborhood and a well kept trail.

a year agoI like going to this park for a relaxing and rejuvenating hike. There are multiple trails to hike and explore. During these hikes I have run into a variety of wildlife. Plus there are plenty of shaded areas to walk in when it is hot and open areas to meander when it is cooler.

2 years agoThis is a bike path not a spot for hiking. There’s peoples houses along each side. There’s no parking except in a residential neighborhood. There’s giant power lines running through it. Gave it three stars cause it’s a decent bike path but I did notice most of it is pay to bike. Honestly felt like trespassing. I was basically in peoples yards here. Just want y’all to know before you go there thinking it’s something it isn’t. It’s more for the neighborhood to walk their dogs. It’s nice for that but then there’s signs telling you you can’t take dogs in many areas so idk. I don’t think it actually fully meets the needs of any of the listed activities on offer.

4 years agoThis is a nice hiking spot. I didn't know this was here until recently and it was pretty hard to find the trail head, it's sort of built right up along a nice neighborhood. I took a wooded trail and a more prairie trail. I liked the wooded trail more. The hiking was not difficult and was nice for a casual walk.
