"I decided to showcase this popular park prior to the next heavy rainfall, as it’s located in a flood control basin. One of the largest lakes in LA, here’s a multi-purpose body of water within a beautiful landmark park! Locals take walks together on the sidewalk around the lake, often with their dogs. Freshwater fishing is a pastime of many here. Visitors may also stop by as a public resting place along the way.
