  • Groupon deals are sometimes available, offering potential cost savings.
  • Walk-ins are available, depending on equipment stock.
  • Beautiful natural environment suitable for both kayaking and walking.

  • Direct interaction with nature and wildlife, particularly opportunities to see swans up close.
  • Relaxing atmosphere for a leisurely paddle.
  • Online reservation system for planning ahead (when functional).
  • Potential for discounted experiences via Groupon deals.
  • Option for walk-ins provides flexibility.

💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Verify operating hours directly (e.g., by visiting early or looking for local signs) as website information may be inaccurate.
  • Check the functionality of the online booking link *before* driving to the location, as it might not be working.
  • Wear water-resistant footwear like sandals, as kayaks might take on water and result in wet feet/butt.
  • Look for Groupon deals before booking to potentially save money.
  • Consider the lack of a phone number when planning; confirmation of availability is challenging without it.
  • Arrive well before the stated closing time to ensure you have enough time, given inconsistent hours.

Things to Consider

  • Inconsistent operating hours reported (website stated 5 PM, actual closing at 4 PM).
  • Website booking link was reported as non-functional.
  • No phone number provided to call the front desk for inquiries or bookings.
  • Risk of kayaks taking on water mid-way, potentially requiring a switch to a canoe and getting feet/butt wet.
  • Customers may be denied service or equipment (e.g., no kayaks available) even after driving to the venue, especially if website booking fails.

Price & Value

Potential for good value due to available Groupon deals, which suggests opportunities for discounts. However, no standard pricing is mentioned in the reviews, making a direct value comparison difficult.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • No specific accessibility accommodations mentioned in the reviews.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • No information about food or drink policies is mentioned in the reviews.

🚗Parking Info

  • While customers drive to the location (implied by Review 5), no specific details about parking availability, cost, or ease are mentioned in the reviews.

👥Crowd Levels

  • Reviews do not provide specific details on crowd levels, but 'walk-ins are available if they have them in stock' suggests that equipment can run out, hinting at potential busy periods or limited inventory.

🛡️Safety Features

  • A reviewer emphasizes the importance of 'Safety first when You go kayaking', but no specific safety measures or equipment provided by the business (e.g., life vests, staff supervision) are detailed in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • Last-minute visits, especially close to the presumed closing time (e.g., 3 PM or later) due to potential discrepancies in hours.
  • Relying solely on the website for bookings or accurate operating hours without external confirmation.
  • Driving a significant distance without any form of confirmation (given unreliable website and no phone number), to avoid being turned away.
  • If you strictly prefer to stay completely dry, as kayaks might take on water.

Safety first when You go kayaking, always. The water is beautiful from the land, but there is something better when You are actually on the waters surface. You can get closer to all of the action happening with the wildlife, including the Swans. Love it! Try it for Yourself and see what You think.

Went to do some canoeing with one of the ladies from my Tai Chi class. I went to rent the canoe while she went to get a couple of paddles. When she returned, she asked me which paddle I wanted? I told her either oar!

Beautiful place for a relaxing ride. On website you could reserve canoe/kayak ahead of time with specific time slot. There's sometimes Groupon deals available, do check on them as well. Walk-ins are available if they have them in stock. Our kayak had water coming in mid-way and we had to switch to a canoe instead 😅 Got our feet and butt a little wet lol. No big deal for us but it does happen sometimes. Definitely wear sandals if you planned ahead of time just in case!

worst experience ever. So I came here to rent a kayak at 3 PM and they told me they close at four so it’s too late even though their website says 5 PM. I asked a lady about it and she said it’s probably a misprint on their website. then a few days later I tried to book a kayak on their website and the link wasn’t working and there was no phone number to call the front desk so I drove up there again just to get denied because they said they have no kayaks available for me and my six-year-old. Would never return here again please find a different park and save yourself the headache.
