a year agoGreat for the little ones! A lot of playgrounds have features that I personally am always anxious about my toddlers playing on. The type of climbing equipment that is just a little bit too much for the little ones..... This playground is the best when it comes to the park equipment having features that are friendly to all child age groups that would still enjoy playing there. It's nice in size as well, so there's plenty to do without bordem occurring quickly. I usually travel past the playgrounds that are closer to my house and go to this park instead. A 2nd place runner-up alternative to this playground is Imagination Station in Randolph, and the Hollis school playground in Braintree as #3. Hope this review helps anyone looking for a nice place to bring a little one to play!

a year agoLots to do. Definitely a large playground with all "the greatest hits": slides, swings, climbing structures, balance beams, things to promote imaginative/free play and bouncy/teetery things to ride on.

6 years agoThis place is huge, and seriously has something for pretty much kids right up to... 12 maybe. Two separate play structures for kids of different ages. Swings of all types to entertain. Several stand-alone climbing apparatuses from easy to... "Have fun... I'm not looking". There are a few tables and benches inside the fenced in play area as well as a couple of benches around the outside. There is ample parking and a large grassy area. The one thing you should not expect to find... SHADE! We're talking direct sunlight baby! There is one canopy type structure in the center of the place, but I imagine some days it could be like a game of "Survivor". You get eliminated and next thing you know you're hiding under a slide to fend off heat stroke. Pack the sunblock and liquids or be like me and go in the morning, or at the end of the day.

7 years agoKids love the playground. The highlands community playground is large and well maintained. It has slides, swings, and all kinds of other utilities for kids of different ages. The ground is well cushioned for kids protection. The location is within walking distance to lots of locals. There is also a large parking lot for visitors.
