a month agoThis place is beautiful. It has miles of walking trails. The welcome center is fantastic with lots of interactive kid exhibits. It was early spring and people were out, but it never felt overly crowded. There are different parkings locations all over the preserve we will absolutely be back.

2 weeks agoScenic lakeside views and peaceful, meandering paths through woods and fields. Wide mostly gravel/dirt paths with minimal elevation gain and lots of connecting trails--so you can shorten or lengthen your hike to your choosing.

2 months agoNice and clean area. We parked at an area that had picnic tables and a restroom which were both well kept. Entry to a walking trail was nearby and it started off very woodsy but then opened up to a wide and open pathway (could easily drive a car through it). The trail markers were a little confusing at times but I winged it and managed to make my way back to the starting point. We only did about 1.5 out of the 5mile trail… there was a steeper incline but otherwise it was an easy walk. Will visit again.

6 months agoBeautiful preserve. We visited this place on a weekend and the place was gorgeous with all the fall colours. We did the trail and it was worthwhile time spent with family. The lake is serene and fishing is allowed. The washrooms were clean unlike many places. Ample parking is available.

2 months agoGreat trails for all levels. I have been on several different trails now. Some go around the lake while others are more inland. Great restroom facilities. Great place to bring a picnic. Felt very safe.
