Lion Enclosure

Among many of our visits in Houston Zoo, we always check out the Lion enclosure, the Lion Viewing area and some surrounding other enclosures like Cougar, Tiger, Ocelot, Leopard etc. When we went under the viewing tunnel the lions were walking around and from the tunnel you can get a up close view of the lions. Be careful about the wet stairs to the tunnel. About the tiger, last time when we visited, it was resting, On our another visit we found the majestic tiger walking around in its enclosure area. Also on the last visit we saw two gorgeous cougar on their afternoon walk, 1 resting cheetah, 1 almost sleeping ocelot and 2 sprinting ocelots. This cat based exhibit gives you a diverse range of animals from small to big cats. Don't miss this area while visiting Houston zoo.
