7 months agoIt's clean, has a beautiful view, a very nice playground and courts. There's a paved walkway and some off-road paths. There's also a pretty big pavilion and restrooms. Very dog friendly

a year agoThis is a park is a gem. There are tons of fun equipment for kids to enjoy and spread out. Lots of places for parents to sit and watch their kids, and also a lot of paved paths around the playground for walking. It is technically wheelchair accessible in most parts of the park, but there aren't a ton of things to do at wheelchair level. There are bathrooms and a drinking fountain. It also has quite a few pavilions, tennis courts, and pickleball courts. This is definitely one of my kids' favorite playgrounds. It has a decent amount of shade and sun as well.

2 weeks agoBeautiful park. Only complaint is people don’t pickup after their dogs. Imagine being a dog owner and don’t want to cleanup after them, just means you’re an idiot and shouldn’t own a pet. Leave your dog at home if you can’t clean up after them when out in public. Nobody wants to step in dog poop.

a month agoThis is one of our favorite parks as it has tons of features for all ages. The tall slides and zipline are favorites for my kids. Toddler parents beware: There is one structure with tall ladders built in a kind of shaft. It's uncomfortably high for me to have toddlers playing up there. There is also a set of stairs for little ones to get up and down easily, but I feel so nervous about little ones falling down the "shaft." (For lack of a better term.) The rest of the main playground is fun for all ages, though. There is a smaller playground further north from the main one that's more appropriate for toddlers. Note that the playgrounds are not designed for all abilities. The bathrooms are kept relatively clean. However, this is a busy park and we've been more than once when all the garbage bins are overflowing and trash sometimes gets blown through the playground. And there is a huge pavilion where plenty of people can eat and keep an eye on their kids. It's far enough away that you can see the whole play area at once. Other than the pavillion, there is no shade and no large shade trees, so be aware of that one hot summer days. There are huge, open fields for soccer and kite flying as well as tennis and small basketball courts. There is no splash pad at this park.

a year agoAwesome park! The zipline is currently out of commission, which totally sucks!!! But there's still lots of fun stuff to play on. I'm going to call Parks and Recreation and let them know, and hopefully, they will get it fixed and functioning again.
