5 months agoFree! Tucked right inside the door of this building on campus is the Physics museum. I recommend the stop. It is a little museum. It was not what we expected when you read museum, however ,worth the stop. We found parking about a block away in a ramp. Inside the Chamberlin Hall just to the right is the entrance. The entire exhibit is hands on. Experiments are explained and are really cool. My husband and I spent over an hour here. He loves to understand how things work and enjoyed explaining some experiments to me. We played around for some time and pretty much had the place to ourselves.

10 months agoNice free activity for the family. Some of the activities were not working as it seemed some were broken but there are plenty of other activities to keep you busy. The only other thing to complain about is parking of course. I would not suggest this for small children but 3rd grade and up would get the most out of it.

11 months agoThe museum had lots of hands on exhibits that show how every day items and machines work. If you like science or tinkering, don't miss it.

9 months agoIf you ever find yourself frustrated trying to explain some basic concept of the physical universe with your hands load everyone up and go to this exhibit. Not big in size, but it holds an enormous amount of knowledge. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

2 years agoIt was awesome. Our group was able to get a short presentation of some of the items in the museum and then the kids were able to explore on their own. A lot of hands on experiences. Not a large museum but worth the time to stop. If you have a large group, contact them in advance. If too large you may have to break the group up. Our group of about 40 worked fine.
