We were looking for something fun to do on our last day. What's better than ice skating outside?! All the other outdoor rinks seemed traditional, this one was more of a "lazy river" feel. It was pretty reasonable about $22 a person for skate rental for 2 hours. You do not have to make a reservation, but if they book up you will be out of luck. If you're lucky enough to have your own skates it's either free or a $5 charge. They did have a snack bar for drinks and things, along with devices you could rent to help those not so good skaters get around a little easier. The rental skates are typical. They work but they're not the best. All in all we had a great time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a different skating experience.

Maggie Daley Park is a true oasis of peace in the heart of Chicago. Situated in an exceptional location near the lake, this park offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a wonderful place to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Whether you’re taking a walk, enjoying the green spaces, or simply relaxing, the park is beautifully designed to cater to everyone’s needs. The views of the lake and the city skyline are absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is calm and soothing. Maggie Daley Park is undoubtedly a must-visit gem for anyone in Chicago, whether you’re a visitor or a resident.

Maggie Daley Park is a very relaxing park in downtown Chicago. I discovered this park by walking across the walkway bridge from Millennium Park. The parks are right across from each other. Maggie Daley Park has a very neat ice ribbon for ice skating that goes around a huge rock climbing wall. There is also a big play area for kids. The play area has various activities for kids even some mazes. Maggie Daley Park is a very nice park. If you want to get away from the city and relax for a bit this is the park for you.

It was cool seeing the city in the background while ice skating but nothing like on TV, too many trees in the way. I said something about being out of practice and a lady said that this skating location is slicker than normal. I said so it's not just me. She said no it's not. And people cut in line that didn't even have reservations. Overall it was a good experience

My son enjoyed this place very much. Too many things to do. Very clean place and we were able to see security personnel in the park. 100% recommended.
