a year agoWe've done various Master Sports camps and classes - mostly soccer, basketball, and mixed sports summer camps - for more than 5 years now (starting at age 4 up to age 10, both son and daughter). Some of the coaches, including soccer Coach Chris, are truly exceptional, even with challenging kids of very different skill levels. Quality of the camps/classes varies based on the coaches, sometimes you'll get someone who is more green (especially for summer), but the sessions are always a great value if you're looking for a more casual sports activity vs. something highly competitive. Lastly, they're great about running classes even when they're small.

2 years agoMy 2 sons (7/8 & 9/10) have done camps and classes with master sports for a few years now and it has always been a great fun experience. I typically don’t do any camps or sports classes unless it’s through master sports.

5 years agoMy son joined master sports summer camp last several years. Master sports have soccer, basketball, football, laser tag and others. My son has lots of fun at Master sports. They have quite professional coaches at their summer camp. It is for sure a good place for kids to practice sports at summer camp. I would recommend it to all my friends.

7 years agoHoops 56 league is very unorganized. It started with uniform distribution, duplicate numbers and odd sizing and continues with not securing practice times at verified courts. Club teams were using them and coordinators did little to assist, they put up paper signs. The officiating is suspect at best, a semi competitive league should have better trained refs. Communication has been an issue in past season with poor quality uniforms, “I’ll get you a new one”, still waiting. The communications issues continued this season with a playoff snafu. The biggest issue was the company kept the families, who are paying customers, in the dark and still have not communicated with the masses. I have been told they do not have individual families emails , funny because I get several advertisements a week from them. I believe the company has gotten too big for current internal resources and needs to expand or these issues will continue and only get worse.
