"This was a fun visit. Our first stop after arriving to Austin . Free to go to. Friendly visitors. Whimsical peacocks roaming freely! They’re pretty calm and you can get close, to observe. There’s a beautiful flower/pond area that was a delight to hang out in. Also has a trail to romp around in the woods. It will lead you to the beautiful lake. Lots of nature. And right next to the sculpture park. If you time it correctly, you can do both so easily. Beware if you have a dark car. We were told the peacocks may attack them during mating season. They think their reflection is another peacock and"

"No peacock when we visited in December. We loved the hike. Multiple small trails inside to get your steps. If you love watching birds, you can get that at the back end of the creek trail"
