"Beautiful estate. When I went in February 2025, the main mansion was under renovation, but the rest of the facility and the gardens were open. I recommend the Japanese garden. There are also bison nearby!!"

"Maymont is a beautiful park with so many things to do any time of year. This fall I went to the Garden Glow event and it was incredible! The Japanese gardens were completely transformed and it was like walking into a whole different world. The park is fantastic all year round and it’s always good to keep an eye out for events they have throughout the year! The park has many features that are accessible to everyone. Some of the paths through some of the gardens have a lot of hills that may be challenging to those with mobility issues however most of the paths are accessible to all."
