Things to Consider
- ⚠Operating hours can be inconsistent: park closes early at 5 PM during winter months, despite signage sometimes indicating 'open till dusk'.
- ⚠Staff at the front gate may not proactively communicate early closing times, leading to unexpected short visits.
Price & Value
Entry appears to be free, offering significant value with access to shaded playgrounds, trails, restrooms, picnic areas, and grills. The option to host events like birthdays and cookouts using existing facilities (possibly with a reservation fee for the pavilion, though not specified) provides excellent value for self-catered entertainment.

🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •Outside food is encouraged, with dedicated picnic areas and small grills available for use, supporting family cookouts and picnics.
🚗Parking Info
- •Implied dedicated parking area, given the mention of a 'front gate' and the general spaciousness, but no specific details on number of spots or cost. No parking difficulties were reported.
👥Crowd Levels
- •Reviews mention 'lots of space for kids to run', which suggests it can accommodate many visitors without feeling overly crowded. No specific times for high crowd levels were mentioned, indicating it likely manages visitor flow well or doesn't consistently reach uncomfortable crowd densities.
🛡️Safety Features
- •The playgrounds are described as 'clean', which contributes to a safer environment. However, no specific safety features like staff supervision on play areas, secured entrances/exits, or first aid stations were explicitly mentioned in the reviews.
⏰When to Avoid

3 weeks agoDidn’t get to stay long as the park closed at 5 PM during this time of the year the hours on the sign said open till dusk, but apparently during the winter months they close early at 5pm wish that the gentleman at the front gate had said so when we came through to begin with.
