a month agoThe gym is very clean and a very very fair price with many creative ways to waiver the entrance fee! Love a place that's for the people. Even Friday night when the parking lot and street is full everyone is waiting their turn and there was some open space and empty equipment! The sauna is not an electric sauna I dont think it's really nice and also clean! Really happy to come across mesa rim!! The staff is very friendly and helpful, I didn't catch his name but thank you to the guy with brown hair for helping my friend and I out!

in the last weekI am terrified of heights but Charlie was so kind and patient with me. I couldn’t have made it to the top without him. He was so professional, caring, and I felt 100% safe throughout our session. Thanks Charlie ! You’re awesome. The world needs more Charlie’s !

a year agoGreat for belay with lots of routes. Not so great for bouldering due to small crowded area, lots of people sitting or laying down, and labeling could be improved. It was very busy this weekend with all cubbies taken and many people waiting around. Family friendly and friendly employees. Wish there were more yoga classes on weekends

6 years agoWe had a great experience so I had to share. Daddy/Daughter date night so I took my two young girls ( 7 and 10 ). None of us are very experienced. I've been to this gym but it's been a few years so I was rusty. The entire front desk staff was really helpful. They helped us get our waivers filled out and then did a very useful re-orientation with us on the harness knot and new bolle devices. They made sure we were all comfortable and doing our safety checks right and then turned us loose. We climbed for two hours and had a blast. Without the helpful staff at the front desk we would have been lost or discouraged. So good job Mesa Rim team! And we will be back. Both of my girls are stoked and ready to get a membership now. Thank you!

9 months agoCoach Jayden's coaching methods at Mesa Rim Rock Climbing Academy are highly questionable. He compels both adults and students to climb, instructing other students to coerce them into continuing. Should they fail to complete the rock climb, they face punishment, and the entire group is denied a reward. Additionally, those who do not succeed are not permitted to descend. Such an approach to coaching is highly inappropriate and counterproductive, fostering a negative and punitive environment for students. BTW, he is always on his phone
