"I'll do this kind of tours. The docents are very knowledgeable and the house has been nicely restore and is well kept. Not every furniture or item is original from the house but it's from that time line and it adds to your imagination while they are telling you the story of the family that lived there. I went on a Sunday and it was just me and another person in the tour. No need to call to reserve beforehand unless you have a larger group. Parking available. Cost it's 10$ per person. You can take pictures but they ask to keep at one per room."

"Really loved the Meux Home Museum!! Extremely well preserved and presented. Each room was a ton of variety, tons of interesting items and clothing and history. Both guides (bottom and top floors) were informative and nice, and everyone was really enthused. I must say that the main guy - not a tour guide but the guy who seemed like he was in charge at the front desk - was very off-putting, that would be my one minor irk, but luckily he wasn't the guide. We got to learn about the family, walk around the outside, and see everything - even learned about the old trolley system, I wish that still ex"

"I've lived in Fresno/Clovis almost my entire life, I was born here, raised here, spent 40 of my 42 years here and last night was my very first tour through the Meux Home Museum. We did a night tour which was awesome and a little spooky. All of the docents were super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every last minute detail of the house. Stepping through the threshold was like walking into a time capsule, they did such an amazing job restoring the house to its former glory. We will definitely be back for a day time tour soon!
