What parents say
"Great place to go see. We actually came here to take some family photos. The scenery is exquisite! There is quite a bit of a hike to get to the water and we had our three young boys, including a 10 month old in the baby carrier, so it was quite the adventure! But absolutely worth it! The boys loved it and it's nice to get out and see the greenery. Minneapolis is absolutely beautiful in the summer time."

"This place is beautiful any time of season! There are many trails to walk on that are dog friendly. It’s connected to Minnehaha Dog Park and Minnehaha Falls. The river was a bit hard for us to access for our dog to drink the water cuz the water level was so high. When we’ve been here in the summer, the water was the perfect height as our dog could wade in the river and drink water from. This is also where my husband proposed to me. It was the perfect day and he had prepared a lovely picnic for us."

"A nice spot to chill at. Different elevations and kinda cool but muddy when the Mississippi River is high up. There are dry spots too on the higher spots."
