Such an awesome park! Swings, green spaces, picnic tables, basketball courts and a super cool obstacle course.

A hidden gem to put up some shots 🏀. It has two full courts, along with individual hoops that are all in amazing shape. Please help keep it this way !? Also has plenty of playground equipment along with a fun sprinkler system to cool off on those scorching hot fay ,for the younger kids, and or the kids at heart.

I took my daughters here for the first time today and the park was clean. Everything was in working order. My 10 year old enjoyed the large jungle gym and my 3 year old enjoyed the ropes course and small jungle gym. This playground is a gem and I hope people will cherish it for what it is.

I attended Green Bay Ave School, 1938-46, & my brother & I used this daily. The field house contained a WPA toy loan service where donated used toys were refurbished by workers & then lent to us as libraries lent books. The south playground was flooded in winter as a skating rink & the field house was a warming house. The #38 street car passed on 7th St & terminated just north of Capitol Dr. A side walk passed between the north & south playgrounds & was lined with crabapple trees, which should never have been planted on school groups because we used the fruit as missiles.

Super cool and unique playground structures for all ages, toddlers to early teens. Plenty of places to run and play. Bring a ball for basketball or playground games. Highly recommend!
