a month agoSo fun. Saw the show about Mars. College students ran the show and did a great job. Very interesting and engaging. Hands on science museum on the outside of the theater was a blast. They had a lab where you could build things too. Lots of fun. Well worth the trip.

a month agoWe saw the magic tree house show and it was excellent for little kids. They had so much fun! Update: Visited again, and it was just as amazing as always. Took some students for a few of the activities and they loved them!

a year agoSuch a great venue. We usually take kids with us but this time it was just adults and we had a great time. Always manage to learn a few things. Staff is helpful and informative. Definitely worth a visit. They had paid limited parking on site but I can see where they might fill up during busy periods

2 months agoPretty boring if you don’t see a film. Definitely not worth the drive from Raleigh to just walk thru the lobby and read a couple exhibits- some don’t even work. Feels like it should be free if you don’t see a movie. $44 for 4 of us to walk thru was a super bummer. Donation to the cause I guess. There’s not even a telescope or pendulum or much space stuff that I’ve come to expect at similar places- so odd to me. So disappointed.

4 weeks agoOMG...Izzy was our host and she was delightful, knowledgeable and had the most soothing voice. Our topic was Super Massive Black holes and I definitely needed to be soothed as I was on edge about the topic. Kudos to Izzy, Morehead Planetsrium and UNC!
