a week agoAbout a year or two ago, we were invited to visit by close family friends and were genuinely excited to check out the space and learn more about the offerings. However, our visit took an unexpected turn before it even began. While walking near the front gate to explore the area, we were stopped by an woman in a grey 4-door SUV who confronted us in a surprisingly rude and unwelcoming manner. We were informed that if we didn’t live on the property, we weren’t allowed to be there at all—despite the fact that there are several residences located further down the road, past the horse barn. The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile and left a lasting negative impression After we left. We had a tour scheduled at a nearby location associated with the camp, but chose to cancel after this experience. It was disheartening, especially from an organization that promotes inclusivity and accessibility for all. We believe local community members should be treated with the same respect and openness the camp is known for. Adding to our concerns, a separate incident occurred more recently when a friend of ours was biking in the designated lane on Evans Road in front of MWC. The same SUV exited the gate without yielding, nearly causing a serious accident. This occurred around 6–7 pm a few weeks ago. I share this feedback not to diminish the mission of Morgan’s Wonderland Camp but to hopefully prompt a closer look at how community interactions are handled on-site. Respectful communication and safety should always be a priority, especially for a place that aims to serve as a "beacon of inclusion"

a year agoSuch an amazing place and great location. Staff is all amazing. The only reason I did not give a 5 star was there was a storm 5 days ago. All the side walks were covered in twigs and leaves. I’m with a camp with most of the campers in wheelchairs. In 5 days they have managed to sweep with brooms some of the areas. I was told they have leaf blower but no one available in 5 days to use it. It’s really hilly here and already difficult to transport around and to add all the debris on the sidewalks makes it’s even more difficult. Hopefully they can get a grounds keeper hired soon! Other than the debris it was an amazing experience. There was also a very dangerous curb with a 2 foot drop off one of the camper fell off of and was covered in stickers and scratches. Really hoping they put up some kind of safety wall there but the butterfly court.

2 years agoWonderful Camp site... our first time here. Great place with very many amenities. We happened to visit for a summer camp for the kid, but didn't really stay inside the camp itself so can't say much other than the feedback we got was very cool and worth returning next year...

a year agoThis camp was amazing! My daughter did things I never knew she could do. Morgan's Camp gives kids with chronic pain a chance to be a kid. To make connections with other kids like them and helps parents make those connections as well! We'd definitely go back!
